The Olowa and Paramount Ruler of Igbara-Oke Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede, Ilufemiloye, (Ogidi III), today paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Agboola Ajayi in his office. The monarch said his visit was to congratulate the Governor on his achievements and successes recorded in his first one hundred days in the office as the Executive Governor of our dear Sunshine State. He said the governor had so far impressed the state with various approvals of developmental project that are of people’s benefit. While pledging his support for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, the monarch now called on the royal fathers in the state to join hands and continue to support his administration for the continuous development and delivery of dividends of democracy. In his response, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Agboola Ajayi appreciated His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Francis Adefarakanmi Agbede, Ilufemiloye, (Ogidi III) for his support towards the successes recorded so far in the Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, led administration. He said the role of the traditional rulers in the sustenance of democracy cannot be over emphasized. Hon. Agboola also attributed their success in the last gubernatorial election to the roles played by all the royal fathers in Ondo State at ensuring peaceful and orderliness in the conduct of the election. According to him, “the election was ascribed the best so far in the history of Ondo State.” Hon. Agboola said the government of ArakunrinOluwarotimiOdunayoAkeredolu, SAN will continue to look into the direction of the people in carrying out every projects and policy implementations.
